Job Title:

Systems Engineering Lead


Job Description:

The ideal candidate will lead complex engineering activities, providing expert technical guidance and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. They will support stakeholder engagement and the professional development of engineering teams.

A key aspect of this role is performing complex engineering tasks, including ECPs, CCBs, and SSWG management. The successful candidate must exercise assigned engineering authorities and comply with technical regulatory delegations in accordance with relevant management systems.

  • Perform complex engineering tasks to ensure the delivery of high-quality results.

  • Provide expert advice and recommendations for the advancement of engineering principles, techniques, methods, and regulations.

  • Exercise assigned engineering authorities and comply with technical regulatory delegations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering processes and activities in Defence. They must have experience liaising with multiple stakeholders and managing contractor relationships effectively.

Additional requirements include:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex engineering activities.

  • Experience exercising engineering authority and operating within regulatory frameworks.

  • Strong analytical skills for identifying and addressing engineering issues and uncertainties.

  • Proficiency in providing technical advice and recommendations for process and technical improvements.

  • Defence Security Clearance of up to at least NV1.
