Warehouse Forklift Operative Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Forklift Operative to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for safely operating Counterbalance and Reach FL trucks and electric pallet trucks to transfer, store, pick and load finished goods.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of health and safety protocols in the workplace, be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), and possess good basic maths and English skills. Experience in manufacturing or factory environments is beneficial but not essential.

In this role, you will also be required to use stock control systems via mounted tablets to receive tasks, input data, and fulfil duties accurately. Daily equipment checks and general housekeeping are also an essential part of this job.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Safely operate Counterbalance and Reach FL trucks and electric pallet trucks to transport goods around the warehouse.
  2. Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness at all times.
  3. Perform daily equipment checks and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  4. Use stock control systems to manage inventory and receive tasks accurately.
