Job Overview

The Development Manager plays a pivotal role in leading software development teams, fostering collaboration and driving projects forward.

This leadership position requires expertise in managing the software development life cycle, as well as exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage SDLC processes and drive efficiency improvements within the team
  • Support the development, planning, and delivery of project portfolios for the team
  • Nurture staff with technical and non-technical competencies, promoting growth and development
  • Foster strong relationships with business and customer groups, as well as within the team
  • Ensure secure and scalable solutions are delivered to meet business needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, majoring in Software Development, or equivalent industry experience
  • A minimum of 5 years management experience in a software development environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Demonstrated experience using Confluence and JIRA, or similar tools
  • Significant experience creating technical and business-focused documents
  • Excellent people leadership skills and ability to engage with diverse workforces
  • Self-motivated team player with effective communication and reporting skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills and time management abilities
