Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to fill the role of Cultural Engagement Assistant. The successful candidate will assist with the daily operations of our arts centre, including exhibition installations, artist liaison, and public engagement.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about art and culture to gain valuable experience and develop their skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Welcome and engage visitors during regular gallery hours.
  2. Support the curator in researching and preparing for upcoming exhibitions.
  3. Organize and maintain exhibition materials and records.
  4. Provide administrative support for exhibition submissions and events.
  5. Assist in the development of exhibition texts and marketing materials.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in a relevant field, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a passion for art and culture.

Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong interest in public engagement and education.
