About The Opportunity
As our People and Culture Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you'll be the first point of contact for HR-related queries, provide strategic support to managers, and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations. Your work will directly contribute to fostering an engaged, high-performing, and people-centric organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- HR Advisory & Support – Provide day-to-day HR advice to employees and managers on policies, procedures, and workplace matters. Support the Head of People & Culture in projects and ad-hoc duties to foster strong stakeholder engagement.
- Operations – Support HR processes, including employee relations, grievance management, and reporting. Analyse data to offer insights into HR related trends.
- Performance & Capability – Coach and mentor managers to build and develop their teams. Promote and support company performance and the appraisal process.
- Engagement – Assist in employee engagement initiatives, coordinate events, and support internal communication. Collaborate with the People & Culture team to develop and deliver positive HR benefit to the business.
- Compliance & Reporting – Maintain HR policies, ensure legal compliance, and analyse HR data for business insights.
What We're Looking For
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience and success in a similar HR advisory role.
- Advanced knowledge of Fair Work legislation and relevant awards.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, eye for detail.
- A people-focused, empathetic, and service-driven approach.
