About The Opportunity

As our People and Culture Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you'll be the first point of contact for HR-related queries, provide strategic support to managers, and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations. Your work will directly contribute to fostering an engaged, high-performing, and people-centric organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. HR Advisory & Support – Provide day-to-day HR advice to employees and managers on policies, procedures, and workplace matters. Support the Head of People & Culture in projects and ad-hoc duties to foster strong stakeholder engagement.
  2. Operations – Support HR processes, including employee relations, grievance management, and reporting. Analyse data to offer insights into HR related trends.
  3. Performance & Capability – Coach and mentor managers to build and develop their teams. Promote and support company performance and the appraisal process.
  4. Engagement – Assist in employee engagement initiatives, coordinate events, and support internal communication. Collaborate with the People & Culture team to develop and deliver positive HR benefit to the business.
  5. Compliance & Reporting – Maintain HR policies, ensure legal compliance, and analyse HR data for business insights.

What We're Looking For

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  2. Demonstrated experience and success in a similar HR advisory role.
  3. Advanced knowledge of Fair Work legislation and relevant awards.
  4. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  5. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, eye for detail.
  6. A people-focused, empathetic, and service-driven approach.
