Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and efficient Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the smooth operation of our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory records and contributing to the provision of a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Receive, store, and dispatch materials within the warehouse while maintaining accurate system inventory records.
  • Warehouse Operations: Participate in warehouse activities including stock takes, improvements, administration, ordering of parts, general warehouse and housekeeping duties.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain safety equipment calibration schedules and registers (gas detectors, rescue equipment, measures, and tooling, testing, and tagging of electrical equipment).
  • Vehicle Servicing: Manage vehicle servicing schedules and booking servicing and repairs of company vehicles and all equipment (trailers, compressors, pumps, specialized tooling).
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proven customer service focus with a friendly personality.
