Overview

Nqpetro is a major installation, maintenance and service provider to retail/commercial/industrial/mining petroleum customers and associated industries.

We are seeking a Stores/Warehouse Person to come in on a full-time basis and join our Cairns team. This role needs someone who can jump right in and make a difference from the start, so prior experience as a Stores Person is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, store, deliver and dispatch materials within the Warehouse ensuring system inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in warehouse activities including stock takes, improvements, administration, ordering of parts.
  • General warehouse and housekeeping duties.
  • Maintain safety equipment calibration schedules and registers (gas detectors, rescue equipment, measures, and tooling, testing, and tagging of electrical equipment).
  • Manage vehicle servicing schedules and booking servicing and repairs of company vehicles and all equipment (trailers, compressors, pumps, specialized tooling).
  • Contribute to the provision of a safe working environment by adhering to the Company's occupational health, safety and environmental culture, policies, and procedures.
About you
  • Warehouse experience (at least 2 years).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Proven customer service focus.
  • Friendly personality and able to work with others.
