About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Civil Structures team in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing deliverables, supervising junior engineers, and supporting construction-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop concept solutions for Water, Transportation, and Energy infrastructure projects
  • Inspect and assess existing structural assets
  • Deliver analysis and design of solutions for Water, Transportation, and Energy infrastructure projects
  • Support construction-related activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Extensive experience in Water, Transportation, and Energy Infrastructure projects
  • Strong competency in project and commercial management
  • Mature engineering judgment and ability to identify constraints, opportunities, and buildability issues
  • Capability in planning and organisation of tasks, people, project programmes, and fee proposals
  • Ability to undertake/lead/oversee the development of structural analysis and design
  • Ability to prepare written design reports, technical specifications, and other technical documentation
  • Sound understanding of and capability with the application of relevant structural design methods, Australian standards, client specifications, and structural engineering software
