Role Summary:

">Job Description">

As a senior automation engineer, you will design, program, and commission control systems to optimize equipment performance.

">

You will work on programming complete PLC systems using Schneider Unity Pro or Control Expert and have hands-on experience with AVEVA Citect SCADA systems.

">

Strong knowledge of machine safety standards and practices is essential for this role.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Program and debug PLCs/HMIs using Schneider M340/580, Uticor HMI, Unity Pro software.">
  • Integrate PLCs, SCADA, and HMI platforms including Citect and AVEVA Plant SCADA.">
  • Provide on-site/remote troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance for automation systems.">
  • Design electrical systems, create single line diagrams, schematics, termination diagrams, and layouts.">
  • Train clients, liaise with suppliers, and optimize equipment performance.">
  • Contribute to R&D, data utilization, and new equipment commissioning.">
  • Travel for support/commissioning and collaborate cross-functionally.">

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in programming complete PLC systems using Schneider Unity Pro or Control Expert.">
  • Familiarity with the Uticor HMI product range.">
  • Strong knowledge of Schneider PLC hardware and software platforms.">
  • Hands-on experience with AVEVA Citect SCADA systems.">
  • Solid understanding of machine safety standards and practices.">
  • Background in industrial automation, particularly within bulk commodities or similar sectors.">
  • Expertise in control system design, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.">
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, diagnostic skills, and effective communication.">
