Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Specialist to design, program, commission, and maintain control systems for various projects. Your work will encompass tasks such as designing electrical circuits, programming PLCs/HMIs, and integrating SCADA and HMI platforms.

  • Program and debug PLCs/HMIs (Schneider M340/580) and integrate them with HMIs (Unity Pro software).
  • Integrate PLCs, SCADA, and HMI platforms (Citect, AVEVA Plant SCADA).
  • Provide on-site/remote troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance for automation systems.
  • Design single line diagrams, schematics, termination diagrams, layouts, and train clients on system operation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and provide technical support to the team and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or an information technology related field.
  • Valid driver's license and experience interpreting electrical schematics.
  • Proficiency in programming complete PLC systems using Schneider Unity Pro or Control Expert.
  • Hands-on experience with AVEVA Citect SCADA systems and solid understanding of machine safety standards.
  • Background in industrial automation, particularly within bulk commodities or similar sectors, and expertise in control system design, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, diagnostic skills, and effective communication.
