Job Title:

School Health Care Specialist


Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of students. This involves providing expert care and first aid to students with complex medical conditions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with legislation.
  • Provide direct care to students with chronic medical issues and other illnesses.
  • Serve as an educational resource to empower staff with knowledge and best practices needed to support students with specific healthcare needs.

Requirements:
  • Be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA experience.
  • Hold current Level 2 First Aid certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in paediatric nursing or a related field preferred.
  • Strong skills in developing policy and procedures in alignment with legislation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to providing compassionate care and support to students.
