The UTS Faculty of Health is a broad and multi-disciplinary faculty that addresses health from conception to end of life.
A long-standing partner of health professions, the faculty is highly engaged with the health sector, industry, practitioners, and the worldwide research community.
About the Role
Provide strategic leadership in fostering excellence in research, teaching, engagement, and professional activities in the School of Nursing & Midwifery at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD).
Allocate 50% of time to UTS and 50% to NSLHD, promoting innovation and research in critical care nursing.
About You
Highly accomplished leader with a proven track record in research and teaching in Emergency and Critical Care.
International or national profile in this field, demonstrated superior leadership skills in engaging and developing research teams and fostering collaborative relationships within and outside the university.
Significant experience in supervising higher degree research (HDR) students and mentoring research supervisors.
Key requirements:
- PhD in nursing or a related discipline
- APHRA Registration as a nurse
- Evidence of successful leadership in course design and delivery
What We Offer
Competitive base salary range: $183,507 - $201,165 pa (Level D) or $228,179 pa (Level E)
17% superannuation in addition to base salary
This position is part-time (0.8 FTE) and the appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for five years.
