Job Role

As a Neuropsychology Research Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the coordination and running of clinical trials and cohort studies within our neurology department.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in coordinating clinical research and trials within Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, specifically in neurology. They should also have expertise in delivering cognitive scales in patients with neurological disease.

In addition to these skills, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities, enabling them to effectively manage a multi-disciplinary team to ensure compliance with protocols and overall clinical objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the planning and execution of clinical trials and cohort studies.
  2. Ensure optimal patient assessment, complete specialist cognitive scales, recruitment, and retention, as well as excellent data collection and management according to Good Clinical Research Practice Standards.
  3. Collaborate with principal investigators, subinvestigators, and relevant staff as required for the studies involved.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of coordinating clinical research and trials within GCP guidelines, particularly in neurology.
  • Ability to deliver cognitive scales in patients with neurological disorders.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a multi-disciplinary team and ensure compliance with protocols and clinical objectives.
  • Familiarity with the clinical aspects of neurology and related subspecialties.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
