Research Nurse Specialist

This is a vital role in the implementation of clinical trials for a variety of studies.

As a Research Nurse Specialist, you will be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team that works to ensure each trial is conducted efficiently and to the highest standards of participant safety and care.

You will be allocated specific portfolios to support and assist the wider clinical team in their daily functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement clinical trial activities as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide high-quality nursing care and monitor the safety and wellbeing of trial participants throughout the study
  • Conduct nursing assessments, administer investigational and standard of care medication, and monitor for adverse events
  • Collect, document, and manage clinical trial data in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements
Requirements

To succeed in this challenging role, you must have:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with at least 3-4 years experience
  • Experience in clinical research, preferably with exposure to industry sponsored clinical trials of at least 2 years
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical research practices
