About the Role:

PHE Engineering are hiring an experiencedSenior Electrical Project Engineerto join the Snowy 2.0 expansion – one of Australia's largest and most iconic infrastructure projects. You'll play a pivotal role in overseeing electrical engineering design and implementation, supporting the build of a 27km underground tunnel, HV reticulation systems, and a new underground hydroelectric power station.

This long-term position offers an exciting opportunity for someone ready to step into a senior role and make a significant impact on a nationally important project.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the design and implementation ofHV/LV electrical reticulation systemsandconstruction powerinfrastructure
  • Work closely with the project lead to deliver engineering milestones across multiple stages
  • Use AutoCAD, PowerCAD or ETAP to produce and review electrical designs
  • Oversee temporary power systems, manage completion systems, and interface with site contractors
  • Use your engineering and construction knowledge to dynamically solve problems faced during construction
  • Report to the Engineering Manager and interface with the clients construction and commissioning team

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering(mandatory)
  • RPEQ registeredor eligible (preferred)
  • Practical site knowledge of HV/LV systems, temporary/construction power
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects ($5M–$10M+)
  • Completion system experience (e.g., PIMS, HEXAGON equivalent) highly desirable
  • Trade background (e.g., Electrician) is a plus but not essential
  • Strong commitment to project delivery, collaboration, and problem-solving
