Job Title: Clinical Mental Health Professional

The successful applicant will work as part of the Mobile Assessment Treatment Team (MATT) providing assertive mental health care in the community, conducting biopsychosocial assessments and providing brief mental health interventions.

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality services that support young people at risk of developing a first episode of psychosis or experiencing a first episode.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assertive mental health care in the community to young people at risk of developing a first episode of psychosis or experiencing a first episode.
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and provide brief mental health interventions to individuals and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised treatment plans that support the needs of clients.
Requirements:
  • Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as nursing, psychology, occupational therapy or social work.
  • Demonstrated experience in the mental health sector, preferably with community health experience or understanding.
  • Experience working with patients in an acute mental health setting and ability to maintain the philosophy, standards, guidelines, policies and protocols of the EPPIC model.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to travel between different locations.
