South Australian Land Manager

This position will support the delivery of environmental management services as part of a new contract. The role may be based at one of the main defence bases in South Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing land management scope of work deliverables, providing technical advice on land activities, overseeing bushfire and feral animal control, and planning the delivery of land management works.
- Manage bushfire control activities to mitigate risks and ensure safety.
- Oversee feral animal control activities to maintain ecological balance.
- Plan and coordinate land management works, ensuring compliance with project timelines and standards.
We seek a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field, and at least 5 years' experience in land management or environmental management, preferably in a defence or large-scale infrastructure setting.
A strong understanding of environmental principles and practices is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a high level of organisational and time management skills.
