Executive Financial Leadership Opportunity

A high-profile executive leadership role is available for a skilled finance professional to lead the financial strategy, governance, and performance of our operations in Australia and New Zealand.

This critical position will be responsible for driving financial excellence, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, and providing strategic guidance to senior leaders.

About The Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a proven track record of success in leading cross-functional teams and driving business results.

They will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive financial strategy, managing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a financial strategy that drives business growth and profitability.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting, including IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop strategies to optimize working capital and manage funding requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Possession of a CPA, CA, or equivalent internationally recognized professional accounting qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive senior finance leadership experience, ideally gained within a multinational organization or the automotive/OEM sector.
  • Demonstrated experience leading finance operations across multiple countries, with a deep understanding of the regulatory environment.
  • Deep technical knowledge and practical experience with major financial systems, forecasting tools, automation, and data analytics platforms.
  • Ability to effectively navigate complex global enterprise environments, leveraging organizational scale.
  • Demonstrated strategic, empowering, and hands-on leadership style, with the ability to translate strategy into successful execution and build high-performing teams.
