Personal Support Worker
Job Description:We are seeking professional and caring individuals to provide in-home support for people with physical, intellectual disabilities and those requiring short-term assistance. Our goal is to promote independence and offer a dynamic, vibrant, supportive environment.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, punctual and have the ability to speak another language highly desirable. A Certificate III or above in disability, aged care or community services is required or willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes.
- Assist with domestic tasks, food preparation and service, medication administration and transportation to medical appointments and social outings.
- Support individuals with complex needs and help them maintain their independence.
- Aged Care Qualification (Certificate III or above)
- Minimum 6 months experience delivering personal care
- Current First Aid/CPR certificate
- Driver's licence and own fully insured transport
- Ability to read and interpret service information
- Current Police Check and NDISWC (NDIS worker check)
- Competitive hourly rate ($30-$40 per hour)
