
Forensic Mental Health Professional

We're seeking a skilled Forensic Psychologist to join our mental health sector team. In this diverse and challenging role, you'll be part of a supportive team making a real difference for individuals facing dual stigma of mental illness and offending.
Key aspects of this position include delivering comprehensive psychological services, conducting specialist assessments, providing individual and group interventions, participating in patient risk assessments and management, and contributing to clinical practice and program development.
- Deliver expert psychological advice and guidance to support informed decision-making
- Conduct thorough assessments and prepare detailed reports as required
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to promote positive outcomes
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to advance professional skills and contribute to a connected and compassionate mental health system
To be successful in this role, you'll require experience in mental health or forensic mental health settings, knowledge of clinical forensic psychology, experience working with offenders, and understanding of psychological approaches for male patients. You must also hold Masters or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (APAC accredited) or Forensic Psychology (APAC accredited), registration with AHPRA, and APAC accreditation for qualifications on eCredential.
