Job Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a temporary housing pod village.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administer occupancy agreements in line with relevant policies, receiving support from tenancy management experts.
  • Coordinate viewings and sign-ups for new residents, conducting regular inspections of individual pods and arranging necessary maintenance.
  • Collaborate with communities teams to refer residents to suitable support providers.
  • Maintain accurate resident records in CRM systems and other tenant management platforms.
  • Resolve resident queries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, focusing on maintenance standards and timeliness.
  • Support residents with complex needs, referring them to other services as necessary.
  • Minimise vacancy turnaround times through efficient information sharing and refurbishment coordination.
Key Requirements
  • A minimum of two years' experience in housing, property, or community management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a systematic and disciplined approach.
  • Ability to navigate complex organisations and build relationships through influence.
  • Proven capacity to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness and focus on driving service improvements.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous experience in retirement living, social housing, or affordable housing settings.
  • Experience working with or supporting First Nations communities.
