Senior Financial Research Specialist

As a Research Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert insights and business intelligence to empower the wealth management and life insurance community. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality research initiatives that cater to the evolving needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:">- Support the delivery of ongoing research projects, ensuring timely completion and excellence in quality.
- Contribute to the creation of new research content, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and scope new opportunities, driving growth and revenue.
- Engage with the team to refine and establish new research processes, methodologies, and formats, optimizing the research workflow and delivering exceptional results.
- Provide consulting and analytical support for recurring and new research projects, utilizing your strong mathematical aptitude and analysis skills.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A tertiary qualification in mathematics, economics, statistics, or finance.
- Preferably 5 years' experience in financial services, with a focus on the wealth management industry, or experience with a market research firm or consulting business.
- Strong understanding of life insurance products, retirement products, and managed investments.
- Familiarity with Australian financial regulators and financial markets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and conflicting demands.
- Proficiency in PC applications, including spreadsheet and database analysis, and standard office software.
