Internal Audit Director

The successful candidate will spearhead the development and implementation of an effective internal audit strategy. This entails designing, executing, and monitoring controls to ensure organisational objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with an outsourced audit provider to deliver a comprehensive annual internal audit plan.
- Drive process improvements and enhance organisational performance through targeted initiatives.
- Oversee project work related to mergers and acquisitions, major capital projects, and other high-impact endeavours.
- Establish strong relationships with leadership teams and the Board to facilitate alignment and effective communication.
- Proven expertise in auditing, risk management, and business process improvement.
- Strong track record of delivering value-added services and demonstrating strategic leadership.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
