Job Title: Medical Device Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Coordinator to join our team at Wollongong Private Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the care, handling and reprocessing of reusable medical devices.

This is a critical part of the sterilising process, and as a key member of the peri-op team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver the best possible care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the management of loaned reusable medical devices
  • Ensure devices are properly cleaned, disinfected, and stored
  • Collaborate with the peri-op team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III qualification in Sterilising Services
  • Minimum three years experience working in a sterilising unit
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required
  • Attention to detail and strong process improvement orientation
