Job Title: Event Security Manager

About the Role:

">

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Security Manager to join our team. As a key member of our security operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of event security services.

">

Your primary responsibilities will include:

">
  • Managing planning activities to ensure that security requirements are scheduled and resourced adequately">
  • Keeping the Event Security team accountable to the standards set within the security charter">
  • Providing succinct and effective leadership to the team to maintain a high-performance culture">
  • Training security staff in procedures and standards in accordance with the security department's operational manual">
  • Identifying event security concerns within general operations and events">
  • Monitoring the activities of building and event security staff to ensure compliance with our procedures">
  • Managing pre-event planning to ensure that event security requirements are scheduled and resourced adequately">
  • Completing required Security quotes for events">
  • Briefing Security team on upcoming events and security requirements for each event">
  • Managing internal and external stakeholders, attending client meetings when required">
  • Providing First Aid to both staff and the general public when required">
  • Managing labour and resources as needed in accordance with building and event requirements, ensuring that these are appropriately scripted in the event management system">
  • Fulfilling the role of Chief Warden when required">

Required Skills & Experience:

">
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in security">
  • NSW Security Licence 1AC">
  • First Aid Certificate">
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate">
  • Understanding of Australian and New South Wales legislation relating to Security and Licensed Venues">
