Occupational Therapist - Regional NSW Role

This regional role in NSW presents a unique opportunity to provide rehabilitation expertise to clients on a fly-in-fly-out or drive-in-drive-out basis.

As a skilled occupational therapist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals to help clients regain their independence and achieve their life and work goals.

  • Undertake assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
  • Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy (AHPRA).
  • Ability to learn and positively impact individuals' lives.
  • Capacity to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service to clients and customers.
  • Willingness to work in the community and possess a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.
  • Current or ability to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
