Senior Equity Analyst

This role is ideal for an accomplished investment professional seeking a challenging opportunity to leverage their analytical expertise in the field of equity strategies.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research and rating of equity strategies, including performance analysis, peer group comparisons, and interviews with key decision-makers.
- Prepare clear and concise reports supporting research ratings and present findings to internal committees and clients.
- Collaborate with global research teams on projects, process improvements, and producing investment analysis and white papers.
- Communicate Mercer's research process and investment views to clients and external stakeholders, representing the company within the investment management community.
- Experience in the investment management industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data.
- Excellent report writing skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting and defending views both verbally and in writing.
Key Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand equity markets.
- Able to analyze complex financial data and communicate results effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
