Installer - Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Installer - Carpenter to join our team at Winning Appliances. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for delivering and installing appliances with a focus on safety, service, cost, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule arrival times with customers to ensure seamless installation experiences
  • Measure and quote for appliance upgrades and cabinet adjustments during visits to provide accurate and competitive pricing
  • Install kitchen and laundry appliances, including dishwashers, rangehoods, microwaves, and fridges, to meet customer needs
  • Customise benchtops and cabinets for new appliances to ensure a perfect fit
  • Dispose of old appliances and packaging in an environmentally responsible manner
  • Employ trade expertise to solve any issues that may arise during installation to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of carpentry experience and certification
  • Clean driving record
  • Strong customer focus and safety orientation
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Results-driven with proficiency in computer applications
  • Experience with appliances or furniture is a plus
