Job Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing daily Service Deli operations. The successful candidate will support the management team in promoting productivity, coordinating employee breaks and lunches, reviewing staff, implementing new programs, and addressing member concerns.

The ideal candidate will uphold proper Service Deli and general safety standards, maintaining courteous member service at all times and promoting a high level of productivity and member satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and direct Service Deli personnel, providing feedback to promote teamwork and accountability among employees
  • Monitor employee performance, participate in performance reviews as needed, and implement corrective action plans
  • Ensure consistency and quality standards are met by monitoring finished merchandise, merchandising, restocking ingredients and supplies, food preparation, and cleaning up
  • Determine production requirements and follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with members and employees
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
