Veterinary Nurse for Surgical Team

We are seeking a qualified veterinary nurse to join our dynamic surgical team. The successful candidate will be someone who has completed Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing and has at least 3 years nursing experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surgery patient treatments and care
  • Patient recovery & monitoring
  • IV catheter placement and fluid therapy
  • Taking blood and using in-house lab equipment
  • Cleaning and autoclaving of surgical instruments and specialised surgical equipment

The role is full-time with the opportunity to work closely supporting our Surgery Specialists, Senior Registrars, Residents and Interns. On-going training will be provided and further education is encouraged and supported.

To be successful in this role you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
