We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist with food services in our residential care facility.

As a Food Services Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food and beverages to our residents, while ensuring compliance with our Food Safety Program (FSP). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in residential aged care food services, a current National Police Certificate, and a Food Handling Course. You will also need to satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to menu planning to meet the residents' needs and preferences.
  • Preparation, serving, presentation, and delivery of food and refreshments in accordance with the FSP.
  • General cleaning in accordance with the FSP.
  • Assist with the monitoring and recording requirements of the FSP.
  • Ensure the friendly and timely delivery of meals and refreshments to all residents.
Essential Requirements:
  • Food Handling Course.
  • Current National Police Certificate.
  • Experience in residential aged care food services.
  • Aged Care Worker Screening.
