Leading automotive companies require strategic financial management to drive growth and stability. As our business expands, we are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to join our team and oversee the financial wellbeing of our dealership.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Finance Controller to manage higher-level accounting functions, contribute to our financial growth, and maintain accurate records. This role involves planning, directing, and controlling the activities of our Administration Department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Produce timely and accurate internal and external reports; submit statutory returns, payments of taxes, rates, and other imposts.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records
  • Budget preparation and collation of figures from department managers.
  • Process standing journal entries, end-of-month accruals, and other adjustments to reconcile management accounts
  • Plan and control Dealership cashflow to meet obligations including: daily floorplan, creditors, income tax, dividends, and other commitments.
  • Review bank balances and inventories daily.
  • Ensure reconciliation of cash at bank account, debtors, creditors, and other general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
  • Supervise payroll

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in senior accounting roles, focusing on strategic financial management.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and tax compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to provide actionable insights from data.
  • High-level organisational and communication skills, capable of working autonomously.
