Financial Accountant Opportunity">

This is an exceptional chance to become a key member of our accounting team, utilizing your skills and expertise to drive the growth and success of our business.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for overseeing accounts receivable functions, including debtor reconciliation and handling internal and external inquiries. This role also involves managing accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in the system, and monitoring accounts payable policies and procedures to enhance financial controls.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to maintain asset control procedures, and the successful candidate will need to collaborate effectively to achieve this goal. Additionally, they will maintain accurate general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, ensure financial records are kept in compliance with group policies, investigate variances, and propose corrective actions as required.

Month-end processes and reporting, including month-end journal, reconciliation, intercompany transactions, and balances, are also key responsibilities of this role. The Financial Accountant will provide accounting support to internal and external stakeholders, including tax compliance, ASIC filings, budgeting, and data analysis.

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in financial and management accounting is required, with CA/CPA qualifications also necessary. Prior experience in software development, SaaS industries, accounting, advisory, or comparable roles is highly valued.

Bonus points are awarded if you have experience with sports & gambling knowledge, cryptocurrency knowledge, Blackline, Zapier, Prismatic, Trevor, SoftLedger/Netsuite experience.
