Job Opportunity: Experienced Accountant Needed

\

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate/Senior Accountant to join our well-established team. As a qualified professional, you will be responsible for preparing Income Tax Returns, Financial Statements, and BAS and IASs for junior and offshore staff members.

Main Responsibilities:

\
  • \
  • Preparation of Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Companies and Trusts\
  • Preparation of Financial Statements for the same\
  • Review of the above plus BAS and IASs for junior and offshore staff members\
  • Review of SMSF Financial Statements and handle auditor queries for same\
  • Exposure to a variety of taxation matters including GST, CGT, FBT, Division 7A etc\
  • Collaboration on Tax Planning and other ad hoc consulting and advisory engagements\
  • Liaising with clients and external agencies\
  • Providing ad hoc accounting, taxation and bookkeeping support to clients\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • \
  • Accounting degree\
  • Process of or desire to complete CA qualification\
  • Minimum 3 years of local business service/public practice experience\
  • Exceptional verbal communication and written skills\
  • Organised approach to work with a high level of attention to detail\
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs\
  • Xero and MYOB experience\
  • Desire and enjoyment of being part of and contributing to a fun and inclusive office culture\
