Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled System Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer computing devices that enforce security policies and audit controls.
- Ensure the security and installation of simulation systems federation and integration in an event/activity environment.
- Directly oversee security of configuration of networks.
- Manage security keying material for encryption devices and keys those devices.
- Support implementation of technical solutions to contractual requirements and standards.
- Assist in responses to external audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
- Resolve routine problems with direction from Senior Security Engineers.
- Ensure security documents are updated and current.
- Monitor security software and provide reporting as required.

About You:

- A university degree or equivalent qualification; or significant professional experience.
- Minimum two years' experience in a security domain.
- Experience with ITIL service management practices and the ITIL service design.
- Analyze event logs.
- NV1 Security Clearance is required.

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of security best practices and standards.
- Experience with security policy development and implementation.
- Ability to analyze complex security data and make recommendations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with IT service management and incident response.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
