Project Development Manager Opportunity:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Development Manager to lead our Melbourne team, working alongside a team of highly skilled specialists focused on Data Centre development.

This role has huge growth potential for the right candidate. This is an opportunity to grow a team around you and connect with Regional and Industry leaders in the Digital Infrastructure field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple Data Centre projects, ensuring they exceed client expectations, timeframes, costs, and specifications.
  • Lead and manage a team of Project Managers and Project Controllers, enabling 'on the job' professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with Regional Digital Infrastructure Industry Leaders to report on project progress and build client relationships.
  • Lead and manage both design and construction schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and specifications.
  • Deliver projects from concept through to handover, managing scope, risk, financials, and reporting.
  • Engage and establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Alongside your industry experience in a similar role, you'll also have:
    • Strong project delivery experience across the full lifecycle of data centre developments, with demonstrated experience of having delivered a data centre end to end.
    • A desire to lead, grow, and develop a group of emerging Data Centre Project Managers through sharing your skills and insights gained from your experience.
    • Demonstrated experience engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the ability to manage competing priorities.
    • Project Management qualifications or experience and ideally a background in construction.
    • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • The ability to relocate to Melbourne.
