We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead our Precinct Team in the delivery of the Brisbane Cross River Rail (CRR) Tunnels and Stations project.

We offer an attractive salary package:

  • The estimated annual salary for this role is AU$180,000 - AU$220,000, depending on experience.

About the Role

As a Project Director with CPB Contractors Pty Limited, you will be accountable for providing leadership and strategic direction to the assigned Precinct Team, ensuring the successful delivery of the CRR Tunnels and Stations project. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of professionals to deliver the project within the scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to ensure effective collaboration and communication among stakeholders, including subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers;
  • Managing risks and issues that may impact the project's success;
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Fostering a culture of health and safety, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, project management, or construction management;
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale, complex construction projects, particularly in tunneling environments;
  • Proven commercial acumen, including planning, reporting, and risk management;
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
