Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team at IPA Personnel. As a leading infrastructure company, we specialize in managing critical assets that are vital to our local communities.

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, large-scale projects and a substantial portfolio of work, secured by an 8.5-year contract. This role also has a clear pathway to fast-track your career into Project Management, unlocking exciting new challenges and career prospects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Quality Assurance: Ensure technical quality and compliance with council specifications and water codes.
  • Project Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track costs, and monitor schedules for timely delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholders to deliver projects meeting their needs.
  • Financial Management: Manage a $10 million annual budget.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Mechanical preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, with a focus on problem-solving and innovation.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring engineering teams.
  • Project Management Experience: Proven experience in managing projects and budgets, with attention to detail.
  • Career Progression: Ability to work towards clear career progression to Project Management.
