The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team and lead the delivery of a $80m commercial project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to site meetings, working collaboratively with upper management, and ensuring project success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the engineering team, assisting in setting out individual responsibilities, supporting development, and ensuring overall team performance.
  2. Provide leadership in health, safety, quality, and environmental management.
  3. Review project documents including estimates, design drawings, proposals, and contracts to ensure successful delivery of the project.
  4. Stakeholder and resource management - Ensuring relevant labour is on site to deliver key project objectives and ensuring quality is maintained throughout.

Requirements

  1. A stable track record of delivering similar sized projects for a local commercial construction head contractor.
  2. A trade or tertiary qualification in construction.
  3. Strong software skills in programs such as Procore, Jobpac, and MS suites.
  4. Compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
  5. Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
