Job SummaryThis part-time (32 hours per fortnight) Senior Clinical Psychologist position is based at The Alfred and will play a critical role in providing high-quality clinical services to patients with cancer.
As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other psychology and allied health staff to deliver evidence-based interventions and support the needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical services to patients with cancer, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient interactions and treatment progress.
- Master or doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Registration under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009 with the Psychology Board of Australia via AHPRA.
- Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009.
- PBA Approved supervisor.
- Australian working rights.
- Full Covid-19 and 2023 Influenza vaccination.
- Current Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo a Background Check.
- Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum (part-time rate).
