About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for rail infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating project teams, ensuring all designs meet client specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for rail infrastructure projects, including power supply, traction, and lighting systems
  • Manage and coordinate project teams to ensure all designs meet client specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality engineering solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Ensure project milestones, budgets, and schedules are met while maintaining quality and compliance standards
  • Contribute to business development efforts by providing technical expertise during proposal stages and building strong client relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in rail infrastructure projects, including design, delivery, and project management of electrical systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of railway electrification, traction power, HV/LV systems, and signalling interface design
  • Familiarity with Australian rail standards and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
