This is a key position within the Healthy Children and Families clinical stream at NSW Health, where you will play a vital role in providing culturally sensitive healthcare services to the community.
As an Aboriginal Health Practitioner, you will serve as a conduit for liaison with other community organizations, including non-government agencies and First Nations specific services.
Your primary responsibility will be to promote the value of the healthy children and families clinical programs across cultural networks within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide culturally competent healthcare services to the community
- Liaise with community organizations to promote healthy children and families clinical programs
- Act as a resource for Healthy Children and Families clinicians and leaders on cultural issues
- Educate and support staff on best practice in culturally competent healthcare
