Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee our quality, compliance, risk and governance frameworks. This pivotal role ensures the organisation meets legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements while driving a culture of accountability, client safety and continuous improvement.

This is a permanent, full-time position based at our office location.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality and governance systems and processes.
  • Manage compliance and coordinate enterprise risk management activities.
  • Oversee records and information governance, including responses to information requests.
  • Manage the Client Incident Management System (CIMS) in line with Department of Families, Fairness, and Housing (DFFH) requirements, including timely reporting, investigations and follow-up actions.
  • Promote organisational learning and service excellence through strong quality and governance practices.
Key Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated experience in quality, compliance, governance or risk management within a complex organisation.
  • Able to lead, communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders within a team environment.
  • Proven ability to lead systems and processes that drive accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Able to communicate, consult, liaise, and negotiate with a broad range of people to achieve program objectives and goals.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications related to the position, such as a Diploma of Quality Auditing and Business Compliance, or extensive relevant experience working in quality and compliance business areas.
  • Valid Driver's License that allows you to drive in Australia.
  • Victorian Employee Working with Children Check card.
  • National Police Check.
