About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Epping, VIC, to focus on the repairs and servicing of steel rainwater tanks, pumps, and equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing service and repairs to rural, built-on-site tanks, including removing and replacing liners, roofs, trusses, wall sheets, and anodes.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant SWMS, policies, and procedures.
  • Performing quality inspections of completed products.
  • Maintaining communication and reporting on job status and repair issues with the team.
  • Cooperating with and supporting the compliance management system and encouraging workplace colleagues to do the same.
  • Developing employee awareness of product compliance obligations.
  • Actively participating in corrective actions from concerns or internal audits.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous experience in labouring, trades assistant, plumber's assistant, customer-facing fieldwork, or remote work, which would include prolonged days away from home.
  • A full, unrestricted manual driver's license.
  • A full, unrestricted manual MR license ideal, or a willingness to obtain.
  • The ability to take and pass a drug and alcohol screen and pre-employment medical as required.
  • Tickets - a current First Aid Certificate, Construction White Card, Working At Heights, Confined Spaces, EWP, Forklift, or a willingness to obtain.
  • The ability to pass a national Police Check.
  • Customer service-focused with the ability to remain professional when communicating with customers.
  • The ability to withstand frequent and prolonged manual handling, including handling heavy loads and performing physical tasks in sometimes difficult conditions.
  • Maintaining a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Basic PC skills.
