Warehouse Safety Specialist

Make a meaningful impact on workplace safety as a skilled Risk Assessment Consultant.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and execute targeted risk assessments in high-risk warehouse operations
- Collaborate with the Safety Advisor, Engineers, HSRs, and operators to implement practical controls and mitigate risks
- Analyse incident data and site risk profiles to identify and prioritize safety improvements
- Apply manual handling and ergonomic expertise to reduce injury risks and promote a safe working environment
- Support organizational initiatives to improve safety standards, including leadership programs and task redesign
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a WHS role, preferably in warehousing or logistics
- Qualifications in WHS or an allied health-related field, such as occupational health and safety
- Sound knowledge of Victorian WHS legislation and relevant Codes of Practice
- Understanding of hazardous manual handling principles and techniques
- Strong reporting and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
