About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our client's Property Development firm in the Melbourne CBD. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial and accounting services to the business, including financial reporting and analysis.
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including financial statements and activity statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax-related issues and regulations, including GST law and capital gains tax.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including management and external clients.
  • Liaise with external clients and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Australian Tax or Business Services.
  • Business degree with a major in Accounting/Finance.
  • CA, CPA qualification or studying towards.
  • Excellent communication and business acumen skills.
  • Proven team player with strong time management and organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
