About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Attendant to join our team at Ingenia Communities. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, preparing food for our guests, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, including food storage, sorting, and preparation for cooking
  • Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and sanitized
  • Receive and sort supplies and deliveries
  • Prepare other food for cooking as directed by the chef in charge
  • Follow proper hygienic food handling practices
  • Carry out any other duties as advised from time to time
Requirements
  • Knowledge of HACCP and an understanding of how it relates to our Food Safety Program
  • Food Safety Training Accreditation
  • Self-motivated and pro-active team player
  • Well organized and time conscious
  • Good communicator
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Responsive
