About the Role

The Central Coast Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Water and Sewer team, you will be responsible for determining, imposing, and ensuring the engineering aspects of water and sewer related development activities to achieve the Council's requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with water and sewer standards and practices.
  • Lead a team of professional engineers and technical officers in the support of major projects.
  • Provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to meet the Council's requirements.
Requirements
  • A Degree qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • Specialist knowledge of water supply and sewerage engineering standards and practices.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Water Management Act and Environmental Planning and Assessment Act.

  • A competitive salary range of $99.7k - $119.6k plus 11.5% superannuation and 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance.
