About the Role

The Central Coast Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Water and Sewer team, you will be responsible for determining, imposing, and ensuring the engineering aspects of water and sewer related development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with water and sewer standards and practices.
  • Lead a team of professional engineers and technical officers in the support of major projects.
  • Provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
Requirements
  • A Degree qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • Specialist knowledge of water supply and sewerage engineering standards and practices.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Water Management Act and Environmental Planning and Assessment Act.

  • A competitive salary range of $99.7k - $119.6k plus 11.5% superannuation and 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance.
  • A 9 day fortnight and hybrid work conditions.
