About the Opportunity
Monash University is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our dynamic team in the Health and Climate Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to advance the understanding of health issues arising from climate change.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement research projects to address health impacts of climate change
- Foster collaboration among researchers to identify, mitigate, and adapt to health impacts of climate change
- Develop strategies for sustainable healthcare and identify priority knowledge gaps
- Mentor students and advance the initiative's mission through conference papers, seminar presentations, publications, and supervising research-support staff
Requirements
- Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications or research experience in health research or healthcare delivery
- Strong record of publications, conference papers, and grant contributions relevant to planetary health, climate, and health or public health
- Experience with research data collection software and a thorough understanding of ethical research principles
